Get a $300 Delta Gift Card for Booking a Ski Trip to Park City

by Scott Mackenzie
Last updated February 11, 2018

Ski Utah, a tourism organization that promotes ski destinations in the state, is offering a $300 Delta gift card to help defray travel costs when you book a qualifying hotel stay of three nights or more. There are a large number of eligible properties, including many that earn points and miles with your favorite loyalty program (e.g., Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Place DoubleTree by Hilton, and Park City Marriott). There are also more traditional ski resorts at higher and lower price points.

The best part about the offer is that it’s very easy to redeem. Just book your hotel stay directly with the hotel and then go back to the original offer page to request the gift card. Park City is an easy drive from Salt Lake City Airport and just about the only ski destination I would consider worth the extra hassle of flying.

A potential downside is that blackout dates would make it tough to do anything other than spring skiing. You could go up this weekend, or you could wait until the first weekend of March. Neither one makes me excited. The ski weather has not been great this winter, and as I’m already making plans for a long vacation in March I have to sit this one out. But I do enjoy skiing in Park City whenever I have the chance. Hopefully some of you can make use of this.
