However, Newegg also sells gift cards — there’s an entire airline and travel gift card section on their site! Merchants include Hyatt, American Airlines, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and others.
You could buy one or more of these gift cards for a total of $200, pay $175 after adjusting for the statement credit, and essentially save 12.5%. If you have more than one American Express card that was targeted, you can repeat the process with each card. Just remember to log into your Amex card and add the offer first.
