Choice Privileges Fall Promotion 2016: Stay 2, Earn 1 Free Night

by Rocky Horan
Last updated January 3, 2019

Choice Privileges is re-launching their stay twice earn one night free promotion which provides guests a total of 8,000 points after making two separate stays. The promotion starts September 1, 2016 and goes through November 11, 2016. The best part is, there’s no limit to how many points you earn! Stay 4 times, earn 2 nights, stay 6 times earn 3 free nights! For every two stays, you’ll earn 8,000 total points which is enough points for one free night at over 1,500 locations, but is not enough points at more desirable hotels which often costs 10,000 – 30,000 points per night.

Unlike other bonus opportunities the stay twice, earn one promotion, doesn’t earn 8,000 bonus points after two stays, but instead calculates the final stay to bump the total from the two stays to 8,000 points. Thus meaning if you were to earn 1,500 points on your first stay at a Comfort Suites, a second stay at an Econo-Lodge would earn 6,500 points no matter way the base earning should be.  A stay is defined as a stay at a hotel, regardless of number of separate reservations. Checking in and out of the same hotel is considered one stay, but switching hotels every other night would be considered separate stays.

Choice Hotels may have a bad rep at roach motels in North America, but head over to Europe and enjoy fantastic properities! I personally really enjoyed my stay at the Quality Hotel Nova Domus steps away from St. Peter’s Basilica for just 10,000 points a night!

And my room at the Comfort Hotel Rome Fiumicino at only 8,000 points a night was a very modern and comfortable place to spend the night before an early morning flight from Rome FCO airport.
