JetBlue is rolling out the point earning power this winter and offering TrueBlue members the chance to earn double base points on all flights from now through February 29, 2016, which are purchased by January 31, 2016. Typically JetBlue flights earn 3 base points per dollar spent, not including extra points for Elite Status, Mint class, etc; yet for the next month and half, JetBlue is doubling up on base points, and making it easier to earn True Blue Mosaic, as the bonus base points count towards elite status!
TrueBlue Mosaic is typically earned by flying 30 segments and earning 12,000 base points, or by earning 15,000 base points in a calendar year. Usually it takes $5,000 worth of spending to hit the threshold, but this winter, if you bought $2,500 worth of airfare between now and 1/31 & flew those flights before 2/29/16 you could reap the awards of TrueBlue Mosaic!
Mosaic comes with all types of option benefits including 15,000 bonus points, two free check bags, seats with extra leg room, free booze in the air and more! I would say that JetBlue’s TrueBlue Mosiac is equally as beneficial as Southwest A-List preferred, but costs ½ as much to earn.
