Hawaii is on Sale! Book Roundtrip Flights From $247!!

by James Dozer
Last updated September 16, 2018

If you love Hawaii and can get away soon, I would jump on this deal ASAP! From now until the end of the month, I’m seeing roundtrip flights from the West Coast to the islands of Hawaii for as low as $247. That’s right, roundtrip flights to Hawaii for under $250. That’s an incredible deal!  I haven’t seen prices this low in a long time but you must act quickly. These fares are only valid for the month of September. Prices start slowly climbing back up in October.

I did a quick search and found deals from most of the major West Coast hubs including Los Angeles, Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle. There are other cheap routes and dates available. I just didn’t post them all.  Here are some sample dates and routes that will benefit the majority of my readers. Again, these are roundtrip prices.

Unfortunately, these deals don’t extend to the rest of the mainland. Prices from Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas and New York, etc. seem to be pricing at normal fares (around $400 – $600 ish).

Keep in mind that some of these deals MAY be basic economy fares. Flights with Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are normal economy class fares that do not come with any additional restrictions. You will still be allowed to pre-select your seat and carry on one piece of luggage (carry-on size in the overhead bin) and one personal item (backpack, purse, laptop bag underneath the seat in front of you). Checked baggage fees will still apply.

Flights with Hawaiian Airlines will also come with a free meal and personal entertainment. Hawaiian is the only airline in America that still serves a free meal in economy class.

Flights will Alaska Airlines will have streaming entertainment and power outlets at every seat. And not to mention, their incredibly friendly flight attendants.

However, some fares listed (but not all) with American, Delta and United may be BASIC ECONOMY fares. This means you won’t get to pre-select your seat at the time of booking and groups traveling together may be separated. You will board the aircraft last and with United Airlines, you won’t be allowed to carry anything larger than a personal item onboard. It must fit underneath the seat in front of you.

United has the most restrictions on Basic Economy fares (Delta has the least). I would recommend selecting flights with Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines to avoid this nonsense. But if you’re on a budget, these Basic Economy fares may still make sense. I mean, you’re going to Hawaii. How much baggage do you really need to pack?

To search for available dates and flights, use google.com/flights and enter in your details.

I know these deals won’t work for most of you but I hope some people here can take advantage of these great fares. Good luck!
