Great Bank of America Offer: The “Museums on Us” Program

by Steve Case
Last updated October 4, 2019

Are you looking for something to do this weekend?  You should consider the Bank of America Museums on Us program.   This program allows Bank of America customers to opportunity to explore museums across the country with no admission cost.  This offer is valid for the first full weekend of each month.  I have used this perk to explore museums while I am traveling.  The first time that I used this was on a trip to San Diego to visit the Birch Aquarium at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography.  The adult admission for the attraction is $19.50.

Museums Matter

Bank of America has partnered with museums and exhibits across the country to preserve, conserve and share the treasures that make this country great.  The program is viewed as a source of education, emotion and creative inspiration.  This distinctive program is now in its 22nd year of offering customers the opportunity to visit over 225 cultural institutions around the country.

How to Find Locations Near You

Use this link to find a location near you.  You can click on the drop-down box by state to find participating locations near you.  These locations can change from month to month so be sure to check for the current month.  Here are a couple of examples of what is happening this weekend:

Who is Eligible

What I really like about this program is that Bank of America made it easy to attend.  You don’t need a fancy, premium-rewards credit card to visit, you need a photo ID and one of the following:

This list is very basic but you need to know that these admissions are not eligible:

Go and Enjoy

This weekend is the designated program weekend for October.  If you are out of town, you have an excellent opportunity for doing some inexpensive exploring.  My hat is off to Bank of Ameria for making these opportunities available to all active customers of Bank of America.

About Steve Case

Steve is a life-long avgeek and a points and miles player. The photo is from my first premium, international award flight in 2012. That is all it took, I was hooked. I used my airline mile and hotel points to travel well and cheap. I am truly an "out-of-the-box" traveler which has enriched my travel experiences.
