Alaska Flash Sale to Orange County and LAX, Book by October 9, 2019

by Steve Case
Last updated October 14, 2019

Here is another Alaska Airlines “flash sale” this week and this time it is to Orange County – John Wayne Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.  Alaska Airlines is celebrating their sixth Disneyland livery that just rolled out of the paint shop.  If you missed my article yesterday, you may want to check it out and watch the time-lapse video on what it takes to do a magical aircraft painting.  In celebration of this aircraft and the collaboration between Alaska Airline and Disney Resorts, Alaska has a special sale to the Magic Kingdom.

This sale is for travel from January 8 through February 13, 2020. Tickets for this sale must be purchased by October 9, 2019 using this discount code – FRIENDSHIP.  Here are some sample sale examples:

These are just some examples of fares for this sale.  Be sure to use the discount code – FRIENDSHIP to find sale fares and travel dates for your travel.  One word of caution – the SAVER FARES are basic economy fares.  Be sure to review the basic economy rules along with the usual Alaska Airlines terms and conditions for sale fares.

Alaska Airlines was just named 2019 U. S. Airline of the year by Conde Nest Traveller in their Readers Choice Awards.  The Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan is still distance-based so you will get at least one mile of credit for every mile flown.  Earning and redeeming miles with the Alaska Airline Mileage Plan offers great opportunities with its’ line-up of partner airlines.  Here is the list of partner airlines (American Airlines will be leaving the partnership on March 1, 2020):

About Steve Case

Steve is a life-long avgeek and a points and miles player. The photo is from my first premium, international award flight in 2012. That is all it took, I was hooked. I used my airline mile and hotel points to travel well and cheap. I am truly an "out-of-the-box" traveler which has enriched my travel experiences.
