10% Back on Your Hyatt Points Bookings For Cardholders

by Caroline Lupini
Last updated February 1, 2019

Starting today, you can register for a Hyatt promotion where you’ll get 10% back on your Hyatt award redemption for stays between June 1 and September 5, 2017, if you’re a Chase Hyatt Credit Card holder. You must register by June 30, 2017, in order to be eligible for the promotion.

Bookings that are eligible for 10% points back include free night redemptions, Points + Cash stays, room upgrades, dining, and spa services. Bonus points will be deposited back into the cardholder’s World of Hyatt account six to eight weeks after points have been used.

Even new cardholders are eligible for the promotion as long as they register by June 30, 2017. Existing reservations do not need to be cancelled and rebooked in order to qualify, but the entire stay needs to be completed by September 5 in order to be eligible.

Is 10% Back on Hyatt Redemptions a Good Deal?

Heck yes! There is very little work required to register, and 10% points back is pretty substantial. If you have Hyatt stays planned already, registering is a complete no-brainer especially since you don’t even need to cancel an rebook your stays.

If you are still planning your travel for this summer, you should take 10% back into consideration before booking your hotel stays. However, if a different program has an especially attractive hotel in the city you are traveling to or you prefer an Airbnb, 10% back isn’t necessarily good enough to warrant a change of your tentative plans.

Either way – registration is quick and painless. It’s worth registering for this promotion even if you don’t think you will be staying at a Hyatt hotel during the promotion timeframe.
