$40 Back On $80 With Booking.com (Existing Users Too!)

by Caroline Lupini
Last updated February 1, 2019

Right now, you can get $40 back on an $80+ booking with Booking.com through American Airlines.

In order to access the offer, you need to navigate to AA.com, scroll down, and click on ‘$40 back on your stay with Booking.com’ in the ‘News and offers’ section of the home page. Each Booking.com user can use this promotion once, including existing users!

If you aren’t already a Booking.com member, the deal is even a little sweeter. New users can get $25 off their first booking of $50 or more. You can’t exactly combine these two bookings, but if you have, say, a two night stay you need to book, you can book the first night with your new user promo and your second night with the American Airlines promo.

Is this a good deal?

Pretty much across the board, yes! If you have a hotel stay coming up that you weren’t planning to use points for and don’t need to earn status at your hotel chain of choice, this is a super easy way to save $40. I was able to book two nights in Tel Aviv for around $120 total, and I’ll get $40 of that refunded to my credit card after the stay! It’s a pretty sweet deal.
