What’s New with Explora Journeys?
Explora Journeys is expanding its fleet growing to 5 ships by 2027 and their destinations will expand too! Three new ships are on the horizon:
- EXPLORA III debuts in August 2026
- EXPLORA IV launches in April 2027
- EXPLORA V sets sail in December 2027
These new ships will introduce exciting new regions to Explora. The EXPLORA III will make its Asia debut, visiting Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, and Thailand. In 2027, it will also sail roundtrip from Vancouver on Alaska itineraries ranging from 8 to 14 days. This is important to note that Explora is sending a new ship to Asia. Most cruise lines (RCI, NCL, Regent, etc) send OLD ships to Asia. Keeping their newest ships in North America and Europe. Explora is dedicated to opening up Asia to their guests on one of the newest ships at sea!
EXPLORA IV will explore Northern Europe, including Scandinavia, the British Isles, Baltic countries, and Iceland during its inaugural season. And in 2028, Explora will introduce Red Sea journeys, with stops in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. A great way to explore places that might be more traditionally more difficult to reach.
