My Test Using The Discount Code “SAFETYDANCE”
I live in Oregon and I am already an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan member. I attempted to book discounted first class flights and an existing member living outside of California. It looks like it worked for me:
The “red squiggly” notation indicates that the discount was applied. Here is my shopping cart with the discounted fares:
This is an offer clearly targeted to California residents. The sale does include discounts on paid first class tickets which is good. The biggest discounts are for weekday travel. There are a lot of terms and conditions associated with this offer so be sure to read all of the terms and conditions carefully. In my test, it looks like the discount code SAFETYDANCE will work for existing Mileage Plan members and residents outside of California.
