Alaska Airlines Newest 737 Livery: The “Go Russell” 737-900ER

by Rocky Horan
Last updated January 21, 2018

Alaska Airlines might not be the official airlines of the Seattle Seahawks, but they are Seattle’s hometown airline. Alaska is the Seahawks biggest fan! Over the last two years the airline has ran a number of promotions to show support for the local national champions. In the past, Alaska has been a much louder and vocal supporter of the Seahawks. Delta is making a move in Seattle, and is the current Seahawks sponsor. Yet, lets be real, Delta is just flexing their muscle and name presence in Seattle.

This week, Alaska continue to support the Seahawks. Alaska’s C.F.O (Chief Football Officer) Russell Wilson now has his own plane! The new paint job on the 737-900ER “GO RUSSELL” supports the hawks and Russell Wilson.

I absolutely love the new paint job, including Russell Wilson’s Jersey number on the split wingtips of the 737! Alaska Airlines knows how to paint a plane, show hometown dedication, and have fun with it! Thanks Alaska for your support of the Seahawks!
