Every year, the saturday after thanksgiving, American Express partners with small businesses across the country to promote Small Business Saturday where American Express gives card holders money back for using their American Express cards at small businesses across the country. This year, Small Business Saturday is Nov. 30 and American Express is giving registered card holders $10 back for spending $10 or more in a single transaction at any qualifying small business.
Although $10 is not as high as we’ve seen in the past (up to $25), I will gladly take a $10 statement credit for using my credit card to support and purchase items from a small business. In order to take advantage of this savings, you must register your American Express card & then use your registered card on 11/30. You can register more than one American Express card and technically save $10 multiple times!
American Express has created a map which lists all eligible small businesses across the country and you can either search it by business name or category (i.e. travel, dining, entertainment, etc). This makes finding a small business easier than you think!
If you do not have an American Express card, I would highly recommend the American Express® Premier Rewards Gold Card or the American Express Platinum which both offer unmatched benefits and opportunities to earn valuable Membership Rewards points towards free travel.
