Delta is previewing their new JFK Terminal 4 expansion with a pop-up display in SoHo, Manhattan. Located at 376 West Broadway at Broome St the two floors showcase the new design and new Delta Sky Club and Sky Deck. Walking down W. Thompson you will eventually come upon the entrance.

Terminal 4 opens this Friday, but until then you can stop by the pop-up display for a preview and enjoy $4 lunch boxes. The lunch includes a drink and a choice of one of four lunch boxes that are delivered on a small conveyor belt resembling baggage claim.
The lunch box I chose has a turkey sandwich, fruit, bag of nuts, and a Biscoff cookie.
Delta is actively competing for business in the New York market. Their terminals are long overdue for an overhaul to catch up with American’s newer terminal. And although it will be sad to see T3 go (the old PanAm Worldport) that building is in terrible shape and an awful experience for any traveler.
This display and Delta’s marketing of it is a nice example of a company that puts social media up front and are engaged with their customers, in contrast to United’s introverted and customer unfriendly behavior.
If you’re in New York this week, you should stop by.
