by Rocky Horan
Last updated September 9, 2022

Disney Cruise line is teaming up with sister company Disney+ to provide guests a “free” cruise. Guests 3 and 4 (think kids) sailing in the same room can now sail free. This offer is only available to Disney+ subscribers. Yet, even new Disney+ subscribers can take advantage of this deal. The deal is limited to select cruises, but can lead to hundreds in savings in early 2023.

Disney+ Subscribers: Set Sail and Save!

Third and fourth guests of Disney+ subscribers sail free with 2 full-fare Guests in the same stateroom during select sailings on the Disney Magic, Dream and Fantasy between January 2023 through April 2023. Disney+ subscribers can book up to 2 staterooms with this offer. Taxes, fees and port expenses for all guests are not included and are due at time of final payment.  Depending on the length and destination, port fees and taxes are typically between $89-$202 per person. To book this deal, consider reaching out to a travel advisor or email me directly.

Eligible Cruises

Nearly all Disney cruises on the M/S Disney Magic, Dream and Fantasy between January 2023 and April 2023 qualify. There are a few cruises that are blacked out. These include the following sailing.

Disney Magic

  • January 2, 2023
  • March 13, 2023
  • March 27, 2023

Disney Dream

  • January 2, 2023
  • April 10, 2023

Disney Fantasy

  • March 11, 2023
  • March 25, 2023

The Disney Magic, Dream, and Fantasy ships focus on Caribbean destinations during this time period. Ships depart from New Orleans, Galveston, Miami, and Port Carnival. With this promotion, one can easily take the entire family on a 7 day Disney cruise for less than $4,000. Shorter cruises can be had for around $2000.

Why Disney Cruise Line

If you love Disney parks and hotels, you’re going to love Disney Cruise line. Disney Cruises brings all the magic of Disney to the seas. Sail with characters and curtailed onboard experiences for the entire family. Enjoy character experiences, live Broadway Disney shows, onboard waterparks and more.

Disney cruises do everything better. With a focus on family and children of all ages, there is something for everyone in the family. Even their onboard meals are going to appease everyone in the family. Disney thinks about the entire guests experience and brings the magic to their ships that cannot be beat. Anyone who enjoys Disney parks will LOVE a Disney cruise. Disney even offers adult only experiences for when one needs a break from the kids. Drop the kids at the complimentary kids and teens club and have fun without them! Again, Disney does it right.

Disney has also updated their Covid requirements. For sailings after Sept 23, 2022, fully vaccinated guests do not have to submit negative Covid tests before sailing. Unvaccinated guests must present a negative test taken within 3 days of departure.

Bottom Line

Disney Cruise lines and Disney+ is offering huge savings to guests 3 & 4. Disney+ subscriptions start as low as $1.99 for the first month. If you are considering a 2023 Disney Cruise this Winter or Spring, now is the time to book and save big. As a travel advisor, I love booking families on Disney cruises. They provide a fun and magical experience for the entire family. If you need help booking your Disney Cruise, please consider Scott & Thomas for your travel needs.
