Escape Lounge MSP to Leave Priority Pass

by Caroline Lupini
Last updated January 13, 2018

Just a few weeks ago, it was announced that Escape Lounges would be accessible with your American Express Platinum card.

These lounges are also part of the Priority Pass program, or at least they will be until June 14. It was originally thought that all of the Escape Lounges would be leaving Priority Pass on that date, but it now appears that only the Escape Lounge MSP is leaving.

This isn’t really a huge hit to the Priority Pass program, though there aren’t as many accessible lounges in the US as there are worldwide already, so hopefully this isn’t a trend! Either way, if your home airport is MSP and you frequently visit the Escape Lounge, it might be worth considering the Amex Platinum card if you don’t have one already.
