You Can Now Follow Travel Codex on Flipboard

by Scott Mackenzie
Last updated March 23, 2019

The internet sure has changed from when I started this blog six years ago. Smart phones have taken off, Facebook is no longer cool, and RSS feeds are practically ancient history. More and more I see that traffic has been shifting to aggregators like Apple News. In fact, Travel Codex gets twice as much readership on Apple News compared to the blog itself.

Now I’m pleased to announce another option. Travel Codex has been approved to host its own magazine on Flipboard. If you already use Flipboard, you can follow us for new stories and collect articles to share with others. It’ll be that much easier to make sure you get the latest stories without interruption regardless of how you choose to read your content.

I’m also considering adding other RSS feeds to the magazine, so I’d like your input in the comments. Is this a bad idea, i.e., would you prefer a magazine just for Travel Codex? Or if I did add other news sources, which would you prefer? Other blogs, services like The Flight Deal, and even mainstream media are all ideas.

As always, my goal is to make this the most useful source of travel information — at least as much as my time allows. Thanks again for your continued support!
