by Rocky Horan
Last updated October 18, 2022

Frequent Traveler University (FTU) is back Saturday October 29th with their virtual seminars. Coming to you live, from the comfort of anywhere, FTU is helping share knowledge about how to travel further for less. Then, next month FTU is back in person!

This upcoming mini-series is bringing together over 4 speakers to share their knowledge and will cover several topics. From manufactured spending to airline elite status and more. This is just one of several virtual seminars which are complimentary for members each year. Plus, there’s so much more to FTU that if you are not a member you are missing out.

What is Frequent Traveler University

Frequent Traveler University is a consortium of travelers who have come together to share information. How often do you ask your friends how to user your credit card points, or what’s the fastest way to earn miles? Airline and credit card loyalty programs are difficult to comprehend and ever changing. That’s why there’s FTU, specifically designed to help you understand loyalty programs.

Let’s face it, airline, hotel, and credit card loyalty programs are extremely popular but poorly understood by most of their users. Many members amass miles and points, yet struggle to redeem them. Let alone get the best possible value and use. That’s where FTU comes in. FTU will teach you how to earn more miles and use them to their full potential. Miles and points are powerful, but only when utilized correctly.

FTU events provide options for all skill levels. If you are just starting out and learning how to earn and collect miles. No problem, we have classes for you. Or maybe you are a point master who have traveled around the world on points. Guess what, we can all always learn more!

FTU brings together instructors, point hoarders, bloggers, and hackers to share their insights into making miles work. Sharing is caring, and together we can ensure that you can travel more and spend less cash.

FTU Membership

Frequent Traveler University is back and offers tons of perks for members. The annual cost is typically $125 but is reduced to just $69 for new members. For $69 you get access to all virtual seminars at no additional costs. Sign up here. These usually cost $25 per event. There are also over 80 Pre-recorded webinars which are available for free to help you hone your knowledge.

In addition to online access, FTU annual members receive big discounts for in-person events and bonus complimentary events. For example, at the upcoming November Orange County seminars, members save $49. Nearly paying for your annual membership. Pair that with one virtual seminar and your membership pays for itself.

Plus, throughout the year there are social events for FTU members. These usually have a price tag for none members, but are complimentary for those with an annual membership. At the the upcoming Orange County convention, there’s a bowling party for members. This is FREE for current FTU Online Members (that are also attending the FTU Signature Event), and $30 for non-members. Tickets include bowling, shoe rental, pizza, and soda. Just one more additional perk of membership.

Upcoming FTU Events

If you are not a FTU member, you are missing out on some awesome upcoming events. Not only are there the upcoming virtual series on October 29th, but FTU is hosting their first in person event in November. The first in several years, after taking a pause due to Covid.

The next Frequent Traveler University Signature event is November 12-13, 2022, in sunny Orange County, California. The event will take place just 2.1 miles from Santa Anna’s airport at Back Bay Conference Center. There’s already over 11 confirmed speakers and 15 different seminars to select from. There are even optional social events, which are complimentary to FTU subscription holders.

Finally, on top of the upcoming FTU signature event, there is another virtual seminar scheduled for December. Again, free for members.

Bottom Line

Frequent Travel University membership is a great way to increase your knowledge of the point and miles world. You can read all the blogs and Youtube videos that you want, but FTU truly brings together some of the best personalities to share their insider knowledge. Many people are point and miles enthusiasts. Now take your knowledge to the next level via an FTU membership. The first year is just $69 and easily pays for itself in just a few months.
