Many of you are probably already familiar with Small Business Saturday from American Express. It’s happening this year on November 24, which seems like an odd choice during the peak shopping season (might these stores get a lot of business anyway?) In any case, there are usually opportunities to get statement credits for shopping at participating small businesses. Just like the American Express Link, Like, Love promotion I talked about yesterday, having multiple American Express cards can really help you rack up the savings.
Although the list of participating businesses hasn’t been announced yet, FedEx is running a promotion of its own to help encourage people to participate. It is giving away 40,000 $25 American Express gift cards. You’ll need to sign up on their Facebook page. It isn’t first-come, first-serve, so there is a chance you won’t get one of the cards, but it certainly is one of the easiest ways in the world to get $25.
