Get Twice the Hyatt Points When You Stay at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas

by Scott Mackenzie
Last updated September 20, 2019

World of Hyatt and MGM’s M life loyalty program have had a partnership for several years now. It’s an easy way to double dip. Just make sure you put your World of Hyatt program number on your Las Vegas hotel reservation to earn points and stay credit with BOTH programs. You don’t need to choose one vs. the other.

I’ve not personally found M life rewards to be very helpful to me, perhaps because I don’t stay or gamble enough in Las Vegas to accumulate very many. But it is nice to be able to earn Hyatt stay credit on hotels or get some extra points. Remember to charge everything to your room to maximize your World of Hyatt points!

Earn World of Hyatt points when you stay at participating MGM Resorts such as the Bellagio.

Now through December 28, 2019, those points will be adding up even faster because Hyatt and MGM launched a new promotion. You can earn double points on stays at eligible MGM resorts. That means 5 base points per dollar plus an extra 5 bonus points per dollar (plus whatever points you earn for elite status).

Eligible hotels include:

  • ARIA Resort and Casino
  • Bellagio Las Vegas
  • Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay
  • Excalibur Hotel and Casino
  • Luxor Hotel and Casino
  • Mandalay Bay
  • MGM Grand Hotel and Casino
  • New York New York Hotel and Casino
  • Park MGM Las Vegas
  • The Signature at MGM Grand
  • The Mirage Hotel and Casino
  • Vdara Hotel and Spa

If you do have status with World of Hyatt, you can match that to status in the M life program for extra perks during your stay! After some adjustments to this partnership, Members are now eligible for complimentary M life Pearl or Gold status depending on their current status with World of Hyatt.
