JFK Flagship Lounge American Airlines Review

by Rocky Horan
Last updated September 20, 2018

Similar to the Flagship Lounge in LAX, American Airlines offers international first, transcontinental first, and OneWorld Emerald members on international itineraries access to their most exclusive lounge in JFK. The Flagship lounges offer upgraded amenities, including fresh cook food, self-serve bars, more refined spirits, and more attentive customer service. For more details about the flagship lounges, please see my LAX Flagship post. I will keep this post short, but will share pictures with my readers of the lounge, shower rooms, and food options. Do remember, I visited this lounge after flying the new A321 in Flagship First from LAX. I also visited this lounge before returning to LAX on the 767-200 in first class.

I will warn you, the breakfast food was barely edible, but lunch was quite good! The alcohol selection is quite good, but varies depending on the day, and the wine isn’t just common $10 a bottle safeway wine. Despite this, the open bar wins and the ability to shower, relax, and eat in the club is great!
