Review: LaGuardia (LGA) Admirals Club

by Mike
Last updated May 8, 2019

Along the windows are the typical club seats that you’d find at any Admirals Club. The unique part of the renovation added a larger open space in the middle of the lounge along with a revamped bar area.

The club is upstairs over the terminal and provides a nice view and decent plane spotting of American’s hangar and aircraft parked on the ground.

The lounge provides the standard Admirals Club fare of bagels in the morning and cookies the rest of the day. Food is for sale throughout the day, but tends to be of average tastiness as it’s mostly pre-made or something that’s heated on a panini press. The bar area was improved with unique design features including a number of old whiskeys on display in the glass and gold ornate wall.

Since American’s LaGuardia terminal is older with limited seating and dining options near the gates, the LGA Admirals Club is a nice oasis away from the crowds downstairs.

About Mike

On my first flights on Allegheny and Piedmont so many years ago, I immediately got the flying bug. After years of traveling I started the blogs and podcasts at UPGRD.com. And, like many of you, I've done a lot of flying for miles and status. I once flew from New York City to Honolulu and back again just for elite status (and a quick Mai Tai).
