It’s been over two years since the partnership between Alaska Airlines and Singapore Airlines formed. Now, the Alaska website now has live bookings for Singapore Airlines award ticketing. This has been a long time coming since Alaska mileage earning on Singapore went live in September, 2017.
Singapore usually makes only economy seats available for partner award bookings. The Alaska partnership is making premium cabins awards available for Alaska Mileage Plan redemptions.
Singapore Award Destinations
Singapore awards are ticketed by zones. The zones available from the U.S. using Alaska miles are:
- Middle East
- North Asia
- Southeast Asia
- South Pacific
Alaska Airlines Award Charts for Singapore
Unlike many airlines, Alaska Airlines still has published award charts so that you know how much an award ticket should cost. Alaska allows you to book either long-haul or regional flights with miles. One-way awards allow for a stopover so there is increased value in booking one-way. It doesn’t look like at this time that booking premium economy seats are available. Alaska does charge a fee of $12.50 per direction for partner airline bookings. Here are the charts for Singapore award redemptions:

Like many of you long-time Alaska flyers, I have been frustrated with the delays to book award flights with new partners. Singapore award booking is finally here although it took two years for Alaska to make that happen. I’m glad to have Singapore onboard and I hope to be booking soon. Los Angeles to Singapore roundtrip in business class for 200,000 miles and $102.00? Deal me in.
The Alaska Mileage Plan allows for one-way bookings with or without complimentary stop-overs. You can throw in another city with your one-way, long-haul booking. Include a stop-over in each one-way direction and you have three destinations for the price of one roundtrip.
