I announced last week that FTU and FTU Advanced were heading back to Washington, DC, in December. The much smaller FTU Advanced is already sold out. Those attendees will get some more detailed sessions, upgraded meals, and exclusive access to a separate reception.
However, there are still many tickets for FTU remaining. I’ve been asked to remind readers that if you’re concerned the regular FTU won’t be “advanced enough,” one benefit of having more attendees (700-800) is the ability to arrange multiple speaker tracks simultaneously. They’ll be organized into three broad categories:
- Credit Cards & Manufactured Spend
- Booking Award Travel
- Elite Status & Travel Hacking
Some topics between FTU and FTU Advanced may be similar, and some of the same speakers will be at both. But for those of who you already purchased FTU Advanced, don’t worry — we’re not just copying the content between both versions.
As an added benefit, everyone who attends will be offered Platinum status with Hyatt Gold Passport. It includes free in-room Internet, 15% bonus points, and some priority in room assignments. FYI: Platinum status must be requested and is only available to the original ticket purchaser, even if the ticket is later sold to another person. More details are available on MilePoint.
