TravelCon OC Schedule and Updates!

TravelCon OC is less than two weeks away! There are still some tickets for purchase and our schedule is pretty much set, and it’s a good one.

As a reminder, TravelCon OC is being held at the Embassy Suites Anaheim-South (steps from Disneyland) from 9AM – 5PM on February 28th, 2015. Tickets are on sale for $129 (tier 1 prices of $119 is sold out) and will rise to $139 with a few more ticket sales. The best airport to fly into is Orange County (SNA), but LAX and Long Beach (LGB) also work great. There’s plenty of ways to get to the Disneyland area, and daytime parking for the conference is free.

As a reminder, there are literally dozens of hotels from all chains within walking distance of the host hotel. Rates currently range from $109 – $189/night in the area, but don’t forget you can use your points as well!

We wanted to change things up from other conferences and provide a slightly different cast of speakers that are very knowledgable in specific areas, particularly in manufactured spending and true travel hacks. We’ve set up a multitude of topics so that we don’t all continue droning on about the same topic, and don’t forget there will be plenty of time for socializing!

We’ll also have a representative from Hotel Tonight speaking about their company and will also have some great giveaways!

Note that we’ll also have a unique breakout session at the end that will really help get your questions answered.

Here is the tentative schedule:
8:30 – 9:00 – Registration
9:00 – 9:30  – Morning Meet & Greet with Attendees
9:30 – 9:45 – Get Situated, Opening Remarks
9:45 – 10:30 – Omar –  Travel Summary
10:30 – 11:15 – Jamison – Points Summary

1:45 – 2:00 – Break
2:00 – 2:45 – Scott –  Travel Codex
