The US Airways Visa Card is quickly becoming one of my favorite credit cards to have in my wallet for a number of reasons! First off, when I signed up for the card I received 40,000 bonus points (Now only 30,000 points). In addition, after only a couple of months, I received an offer to earn 15,000 bonus miles for spending $750 a month for 3 months on the card! That promotion ended in August, and now it’s September and I just received another promotional offer! This time I will earn 5 bonus miles per dollar spent at gas stations, restaurants, and department, toy or game stores! Unlike other airline credit cards, the US Airways credit card is throwing miles at me!
I opened my account 6 months ago and I have earned 55,000 bonus miles through promotions, and with this new promotion, I will maximize my spending my using this card between October 1 and December 1 to earn an additional 2500 bonus miles—the maximum permitted by this promotion! Since this card already earns 1 mile per dollar spent, in the end I will actually earn 3000 miles for spending only $500 on this card!
2,500 Bonus miles + 500 miles for spending $500 = 3,000 Miles
With bonuses like these, I can accumulate enough miles to fly all over the world in business class for free without having to step foot on a plane! After all, just this week, Matthew booked one of my favorite US Airway awards–a ticket in business class flying from New York to Taiwan via Europe for only 90k miles! in January I put together my list of top 10 uses of US Airway Miles and an award ticket like Matthew’s is just one of 10 great uses for US Airway miles!
Therefore, If you’re looking for a way to rack up some extra miles or maybe just want to add miles to your US Airways account or possibly your AA AAdvantag account after the merger, the US Airways Credit Card is by far the best route to take! After all, no other airline credit card offers bonuses like this one!
