Review: Le Saigonnais Business Lounge SGN – Priority Pass

by Rocky Horan
Last updated January 3, 2019

The Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) Airport has two terminals, one for domestic flights and another for international. When connecting from an international flight to domestic flights, one must collect their luggage and re-checkin. Customs can be crazy and take some time, so always plan at least 2 hours between flights. Once in the domestic terminal, a priority pass lounge is available for guests past security. The Le Saigonnais Business Lounge is the only lounge I noticed in the small terminal and can get very busy at time.

To find the lounge follow the signs towards gates 10-14. The lounge is across from gate 11 and is open daily from 4:30am to 11pm. The lounge offers all the basic amenities, but does not offer showers. Again remember, that this lounge is utilized by all airlines serving the domestic terminal, priority pass, and more. So if you find a seat, stick to it. Thankfully, most seats near the wall have powerports and there is free WiFi.

Le Saigonnais Food and Beverage

The Le Saigonnais lounge is built around a large center kitchen. There is an indoor garden in the middle of the kitchen taking up a lot of space. Yet, the garden does add to the atmosphere. Freshly cooked vietnamese food is available, or build your own pho!

When you’re ready to drink, sit back and sip some local beer. The options are 333 or Saigon Special. There is also fresh coffee, tea, wine, or soda for those who are refraining from alcohol. Remember, Vietnamese style coffee is EXTRA strong. There is condense milk for those who like it like the locals. Or there’s an espresso machine available as well.

Lounge or Work

When it comes to finding a place to lounge or work, it can be tough. As I said before, the lounge can be very busy. Seat are usually in pairs of two at round tables. There are a few larger tables for groups of four or several round tables next to each other for larger parties.

For those who need to work. There is a business center equipped with computers and a printer and scanner.

Priority Pass Lounge SGN Final Thoughts

The SGN priority pass lounge in the domestic terminal is a fine lounge to relax in. The terminal itself has several food options and shopping to pass time as well. If you are looking for a place to relax before a flight or during a layover, this is the place for you. It’s no international airlines first class lounge, but it has just about everything you could ask for and free Pho! That alone makes this lounge awesome in my book!
