The Hub: Routes, Fleet and Terminal Maps for LOT Polish Airlines

by Rohan Anand
Last updated December 2, 2017

One of the things I love most about commercial aviation (besides every other thing there is to love) is learning about an individual airline’s route maps, fleet profile and terminal diagrams. Often times, these details are found within an in-flight magazine of a particular carrier, or in their timetables. It is a great way to become familiarized with where they fly, who they partner with, what type of aircraft they use and so on.

There have been a lot of great websites and online resources dedicated to unearthing this data for aviation fanatics around the globe, dating back to the early 20th century with historical collections. Here are a few of my favorites that I have been following:

  • Airchive: powered by Airways
  • Departed Flights
  • Airline Route Maps
  • Airlines Past and Present
  • Airline Maps

I personally have been collecting airline magazines, timetables and route maps since I was a kid, and have 20-something years plus of data. I figured I could start a fun tradition for Fridays, where I can share random information from the past, present and future for you guys to learn about.

Enjoy!
