Getaway to Japan for a Week

I traveled a lot in 2015; most of it was work travel, but I had some fun personal travel as well.  One of the best trips was to Japan with my wife.  We have wanted to go there for some time, and we finally were able to make it work.  We had some good experiences both while getting to and from Japan, as well as at our destination.  I will report on several parts of our trip in upcoming posts.

First we went to Kyoto

We spent time in both Kyoto and Tokyo.   It was a quick trip, but we did our best to make the most of the time we had.  As for the travel component, we were able to experience some nice First Class products in the air, and some nice hotels once in country.
