FREE Alaska Airlines 2-for-1 Vouchers for Bay Area Baseball Fans

by Rocky Horan
Last updated December 1, 2017

Alaska Airlines is teaming up with the San Francisco Giants to provide 40,000 fans with two-for-one vouchers! This is a long-time game day promotion that Virgin America, the SF Giant’s official airline, offers each year. This year, the vouchers will be even more valuable because the vouchers can be used on Alaska’s growing network!  As Alaska Airlines mergers with Virgin America and builds their Most West Coast brand from their new SF hub, fans will have more flight options! In addition to a growing presence at SFO, Alaska Airlines is also expanding in Oakland and San Jose. By the end of the year, Virgin America and Alaska Airlines will have 131 daily nonstop flights to 42 destinations! That’s a lot of opportunities and places to take someone for free!

Alaska Airlines 2-4-1 Promotion Details

The 40,000 vouchers will only be available to fans on Sunday September 17th. With a max capacity of 41,915 people, it is likely that EVERY fan at AT&T Park will receive an Alaska Airlines 2-4-1 voucher! That is of course if stadium staff do not keep one or two for themselves! Basically, if you go to the game and show up semi early, you’ll get a voucher.

The vouchers are good for travel from September 17, 2017 through February 28. 2018. The two-for-one voucher covers the cost of the second traveler’s ticket minus the taxes. Travel can be to any of Alaska and Virgin America’s 118 destinations with the exception of Havana and Prudhoe Bay. Blackout dates include popular travel times around holiday travel. Including dates around Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and President’s Day. The coupons are ONLY valid on flights operated by Alaska and Virgin America. Unfortunately, codeshares airline partners are invalid.

Baseball Tickets Are Cheap!

Everyone likes to save money, right? Even if you are not a Giant or baseball fan buy a ticket and go to the game! If you want to save some money on future flights go to the game on September 17th! Or go collect the voucher and leave!

If you are in San Francisco or anywhere near the Bay, consider buying a SF Giant ticket! Tickets are still available for as low as $26.56 through Stubhub. By spending less than $30 today, you could save hundreds on a future flight! Escape SF’s gloom this winter and consider exploring Hawaii, Mexico, or even Costa Rica for half the price!

The Alaska Airlines 2-4-1 voucher for baseball fans is by far one of the best freebies I’ve ever seen at a baseball stadium! It definitely beats a bobble-head or towel!
