I wrote last week about the changes you can expect with the move to a new loyalty program, as Hyatt replaces Gold Passport with the new World of Hyatt. Although there are many changes, both positive and negative, I think they are an improvement overall.
Hyatt reached out to offer me Globalist status to celebrate the new program, but with school commitments still heavy I’m quite sure I would not be able to take advantage of all its perks. That’s why I’m giving it away to one of you instead!

Important Caveats
Some benefits you may have heard about are not included with this prize. Specifically, those listed under the section “More Rewards Await” on the World of Hyatt website are earned only after earning a certain number of qualifying nights or points and are not a direct benefit of Globalist status. Examples include a free Category 1-7 award night, four suite upgrade awards, a dedicated My Hyatt Concierge, and a reduced 55-night threshold to requalify for Globalist status next year. Only the “core” benefits of Globalist status are included.
