Review: SATS Premier Lounge Singapore, a Priority Pass Lounge

by James Dozer
Last updated December 3, 2017

There are several Priority Pass Lounges at Singapore Changi Airport but the SATS Premier Lounge in terminal 3 is one of my favorites. The SATS Premier Lounge terminal 3 is located on the mezzanine level in between gates A and B, above the shopping arcarde. The other lounges located in this area include the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Gold Lounge and the Dnata Lounge (also a Priority Pass Lounge). The SATS Premier Lounge is open 24 hours a day and accepts both Priority Pass and Lounge Club memberships. Priority Pass members are only allowed entry for 3 hours but from my experience, they rarely enforce this policy.

The main seating area of the lounge is located to the left of the reception desk. The seating area is clean, comfortable and elegantly designed with a good variety of seating options and soft ambient lighting. The open air roof makes the lounge feel open and spacious and the large floor to ceiling windows let in a lot of natural lighting during the daytime.

If you are traveling by yourself and don’t want to socialize with others, you can pick one of the high-back, solo chairs along the balcony railing for some space away from others.

There are several open desks located in the back of the lounge with desktop computers for those needing to get some work done. If these are occupied, there is a bar table located at the opposite end of the lounge as a good backup for some usable desk space. Unsecured WiFi is provided throughout the lounge so you can work from anywhere and electrical outlets are readily available by all of the seating areas.

If you have been traveling all night and need some rest, relaxation and rejuvenation, there are several massage chairs located at the far left of the lounge. These massage chairs provide full body massages from your neck and shoulders down to your butt and feet. If these are all occupied or if you just want a foot rub, you can use the foot massagers next to the chairs.

Individual shower rooms are provided but they are pretty basic. They are on a first come, first serve basis and are equipped with shampoo and body wash dispensers.

For food and drink, the SATS Premier Lounge provides a good variety of both hot and cold dishes throughout the day from dumplings and pancakes to stir-fry noodles and a make your own Laksa noodle station.

Alcohol-wise, there is only a small offering of beers, wines and spirits. Other beverages includes sodas, juices and two espresso machines.

SATS Premier Lounge Singapore overall thoughts

Overall, the SATS Premier Lounge is one of my favorite Priority Pass Lounges at Singapore Changi Airport. The lounge is clean, comfortable and rarely crowded. The food options are decent and the lounge is a good place to kill some time in between flights. The lounge is open 24 hours a day and I appreciate having a place to rest and relax during the odd times when everything else at Changi Airport is closed.
